Meet the Team

 Head of School & Rainbow Class Teacher 

Ebrima has been a valued member of the Ebo Town Community Nursery School team since 2021, when he took on the role of Head of School. He also teaches our Rainbow Class and plays an important role in the day-to-day running of the school.

Ebrima has many years of experience within The Gambian education system and is qualified to teach children well beyond nursery school age. His experience, knowledge and understanding of education are a real asset to our school.

Living in the heart of Ebo Town, Ebrima has a strong connection to the local community and is passionate about supporting the children and families around him. 

Hard-working, dedicated and ambitious, Ebrima is committed to helping children in his own community get the best possible start to their education. His leadership, experience and genuine passion for the children make him an invaluable part of the Ebo Town Community Nursery School team.

Caterpillar Class Teacher

Abba is a young lady, who is a qualified nursery school teacher at The Gambian teaching college. She joined our Ebo Town Community Nursery School Team in 2021 and has been a valuable part of the team ever since.

She teaches our Caterpillar Class and is dedicated to helping our children learn, grow and develop in a happy and supportive classroom environment. She is very gentle, kind and brings a lot of ideas and thoughts.  

Abba's commitment to the children and the school makes her a much-loved member of our team.

Butterfly Class Teacher

Josephine is the newest member of our teaching staff and joined the Ebo Town Community Nursery School team following a six-month probationary period.

She has quickly settled into school life and is already becoming a familiar and friendly face to our children.

Josephine brings enthusiasm and a caring approach to her role and is committed to helping our children learn, develop and enjoy their time at school. As a new member of the team, she is getting to know the children, their individual personalities and the families who make up our school community.

We are delighted to welcome Josephine to Ebo Town Community Nursery School and look forward to seeing her grow in confidence and experience within the school. We are excited to see all that she will bring to our team and, most importantly, to the children in her care.

Teaching Assistant

Awa has been part of the Ebo Town Community Nursery School  team for an incredible five years.

As our Teaching Assistant, Awa provides invaluable support in the classroom and works closely with our teachers to help ensure that every child receives the attention and encouragement they need.

Her experience, kindness and familiarity with our children make her a hugely valued member of the Ebo Town family.

Cleaner

Fatou is an important part of the team and is responsible for keeping our school clean, fresh and welcoming for our children, teachers and visitors.

Fatou has the very important job of looking after the school's cleaning needs. With seven toilets, two showers, three large classrooms, a staff room and an office, there is certainly no shortage of work to keep her busy!

Her hard work helps to ensure that our children have a clean, safe and pleasant environment in which to learn and play.

Much of what Fatou does happens quietly behind the scenes, but it makes a huge difference to the day-to-day running of our school. She is a complete asset to Ebo Town Community Nursery School and a much-needed and greatly appreciated member of our team.

 Nightwatchman, Security & Maintenance  

Pa is one of our longest-standing friends and supporters of Ebo Town Community Nursery School.

He has been involved with the school from the beginning and plays an important role in keeping our school safe, secure and well maintained. 

As our nightwatchman, security and maintenance man, Pa takes care of the school outside of teaching hours and is always on hand when something needs fixing or looking after.

Pa's commitment, reliability and knowledge of the school make him an incredibly important part of our team.
